Ask if the repeater is in use and identify with your call sign, Key "55" to verify current link status. If open then key the four digit node id number to connect.

Type "73" to Disconnect. Remember not to quick key. Press your PTT and start speaking one second later to allow for the 1/2 second link delay or your first word will not be transmitted. Also allow four second gap during a QSO to allow other stations to call or disconnect.

All hams in the area are welcome to use the repeater and IRLP link.

Both nodes will time-out the IRLP connections if there is no local activity in 30 minutes time. Always disconnect the node when you are finished.
